Sessions
The schedule.
Session 01
Wednesday 28 October
17:00 to 21:00
Challenge Introduction
The opening session sets the stage. Teams get a clear picture of the current defence and security landscape in Denmark and Europe from two angles: national security and domestic needs, and how ventures in this space are built and funded. Teams then choose a problem area and write their first hypotheses.
Kampkraft, Energiporten 2, Copenhagen
Kampkraft · Final Frontier
What you leave with
A formed team, a chosen problem area and a first hypothesis sheet.
Session 02
Wednesday 4 November
17:00 to 21:00
R&D and Tech Exploration
Before building anything, teams learn to break the problem down properly: who the stakeholders are, what the operational constraints look like, and where the technical risk sits.
KU Lighthouse, Tagensvej 16A, 2200 Copenhagen N
KU Lighthouse
What you leave with
A stakeholder map, a problem breakdown and a shortlist of technical approaches with the riskiest assumption named.
Session 03
Wednesday 11 November
17:00 to 21:00
Prototyping and Feedback
Hosted at TechStation, home to hardtech startups in Hellerup. Teams see what it takes to go from concept to working hardware, then define and stress-test their own proof-of-concept.
TechStation, Ryvangs Allé 81-83, 2900 Hellerup
TechStation · Founder story
What you leave with
A proof-of-concept plan with test criteria and a risk map of failure modes.
Session 04
Wednesday 18 November
17:00 to 21:00
GTM, Procurement and Pilot Strategy
How do early teams find their first customers in defence and dual-use markets? Teams learn how early customers are mapped and identified, how procurement works, and what a credible pilot pathway looks like.
Station, Howitzvej 30, 2000 Frederiksberg
BioInnovation Institute / NATO DIANA
What you leave with
An early-customer map, a pilot pathway plan and a first business model.
Session 05
Wednesday 25 November
Finals: Judged Pitching
Finals night is where teams take the stage and pitch their venture case and pilot pathway to a jury from Kampkraft, Final Frontier and TechStation. After the winners are announced, the evening continues with a reception.
Copenhagen Business School, Frederiksberg
JuryKampkraft · Final Frontier · TechStation
What you leave with
A pitch, a venture case and a pilot pathway, judged on technical, operational, venture and pilot readiness.
Who it's for.

- Request to join on the programme's Luma page. Registration is by approval, and applications close Monday 26 October.
- No. You can apply solo and without an idea. We match participants into cross-disciplinary teams based on complementary skills and shared interests, and you develop your concept from the challenge during the programme.
- Students and recent graduates aged 18 or older from DTU, CBS, KU, ITU, SDU, AAU, RUC and other higher education institutions. All study lines are welcome, from engineering and computer science to business, law, political science and design. No defence background is required.
- Sessions 1 to 4 run 17:00 to 21:00 on Wednesdays, and the fifth evening is the finals. Expect some team work between sessions, especially around research, your proof-of-concept and your pitch.
