Breaking Down the Problem

Before building anything, teams learn to break the problem down properly: who has the problem, who decides and pays, and what constrains it in operation. Solutions come later.
Talking Stage
A workshop led by KU Lighthouse on analysing the problem, identifying the stakeholders and deciding how to address it, followed by ODIN on what defence innovation needs in practice.
Working Stage
Guided problem breakdown: stakeholder map, user and buyer, operational constraints and the open questions to answer before choosing an approach, with mentors challenging assumptions.
What you leave with
A stakeholder map, a problem breakdown and a list of the assumptions to test before building.
